A few years ago, the NFL heard from their female fans that they were tired of cutting down oversized jerseys and tee’s to showcase their support for their team. From this energy and movement came the NFL Women’s and Junior’s Apparel lines.

Gracie Hunt in the advertising campaign for Kansas City Chiefs apparelA passionate sports enthusiast and football fan myself, I have participated in the campaign as a spokesmodel and brand ambassador since its start in 2012.

As a young girl at the onset of the campaign, I was new to the world of fashion and modeling. Over my years working with the campaign, I’ve learned that the confidence everyone strives for in life starts from within yourself. You must be your own greatest cheerleader, because if you believe in yourself and all you are capable of, others will gravitate towards you. Becoming comfortable in my own skin and sense of style allowed me to share that and inspire young women and teens across the nation to embrace your own kind of beautiful.

I hope that from the wide variety of pieces for women and teens in the line, girls of all ages can be fearless in their sense of fashion and wear their team’s colors proudly on game day or any day. Most of all I am proud to be a woman empowering other woman.

I’ll be posting some of my favorite picks and pieces from the collection!
